INSPIRATION
Smoked Bloom was inspired by the tropics, the perfumer had an image in mind of a deep, fiery orange light falling over the landscape right as the sun rises over the horizon. Smoked Bloom begins with sweet and juicy apricot and citrus notes. It is a sticky, bounteous scent bursting with fruits. The smoky tendrils of the Haitian vetiver also wind their way into the top notes. As the scent works its way intoĀ the heart of a soft but leathery osmanthus flower makes its appearance.

It is a delicate and demure flower with soft white floral aspects and a gentle wisp of apricot. The absolute that is used also has a distinctly leathery feel to it. The scent finishes in a woody blend of sandalwood & vetiver and a steamy haze of clean musks.
