Gilded is a mysterious scent inspired by tea houses, dry woods, and sticky resins. It is the meeting of sacred incense and profane sweet, dry wood, and vibrant glowing spices. Where most of the Paraphrase scents take their initial inspiration from a landscape or story, Gilded started as a material exploration. The perfumer fell in love with a natural cardamom and a cinnamon coĀ² extract, which give a much more true-to-life impression than the essential oil versions. The rest of the scent was built around those notes to match their vibration.

Gilded blends sticky incense resins, frankincense, and opoponax (sweet myrrh) with a dry woods accord, Orange blossom absolute and chai spices, cinnamon, cardamom & a touch of clove. These elements are all blended and reinforced into a whole vibrating, hazy aura.
